The book holds up to six characters, which covers most households: two parents and their children, or grandparents with the grandchildren. Even so, a story works best when it centres on one memory, so choose who carries it and let anyone else appear in the dedication. Larger casts are quoted separately if the story truly needs them.

You send a few clear photos of each person and one real moment: the camping trip in the rain, the kitchen on Sunday mornings, the year you all moved. We write the story, illustrate thirteen spreads, a person checks every page, and you approve the full digital proof before it is printed.

Which moment makes the best family book?
A small one everybody remembers differently. The holiday where the car broke down beats a summary of the family's virtues every time, because it gives the story a problem and the family a way out of it together.
Which styles work for a family?
Watercolour storybook and the anime-style look are the warmest for mixed ages. Pixar-style 3D suits families with young children; naive folk art gives the book the feel of something passed down.
Can grandparents and grandchildren be in the same book?
Yes, up to six people in all. Grandparents with their grandchildren, or three generations side by side, are both common.
